Smart Gardener offers an exclusive Smart Add On for Smart Gardeners who want to include other items in your gardens, in addition to your planting areas. Lots of you wanted to be able to show where fences, trees, pathways and buildings were on your layout. $2.99 (One time fee)
Smart Shade
Smart Gardener offers an exclusive Smart Add On for Smart Gardeners who wanted to be able to designate the shaded areas in their vegetable gardens. Smart Gardener will know to recommend and place your shade tolerate plants in those areas. $3.99 (One time fee)
Succession Planting
This Add On converts your households total quantity of plants for a variety into small batches that you sow or plant over time. Several smaller plantings are made at timed intervals, rather than all at once. The plants mature at staggered dates, establishing a continuous harvest over an extended period. $1.99 (One time fee)

Just found this site and was wondering if its possible to have some sort of personal consultation. I am anxious to get started, but have a few questions to make sure I get on the right track the first time.
is there any way to add herbs and fruits WITHOUT purchasing the ‘add-ons’? I thought smart gardener was a FREE online tool.
And why only do a few of them like herbs and fruits, how is it any different from the veggies? I am not a fan of the add ons for the herbs and fruits. I can see it would make sense to have more capability for a fee for shades, paths, and that kind of add on, but for the fruit and herbs??? geez.
if I were to purchase the succession planting and smart squares add-ons, would they work together?
I just purchased succession planting and I was wondering if there are any tips to using it? A guide possibly?
Love the site so far. we definitely didn’t plan the garden before buying plants, but next season we will consult the area/season recommended plants before purchasing.
I left feedback asking for a way to decrease the spacing needed for plants such as squash and melons. I never received a coupon code. I want to buy the Smart Squares add-on with my coupon code. Please send me the code. I’m glad there is a way to fix this common problem.

We have no record of any contact from you on file. We also haven’t had a code for Smart Squares in quite some time. However, it appears your account already has the Smart Squares add on and other add ons installed. Can you double check this for us?
